The Connectivity section of the Linksys MX4300 (LN1301) allows you to access and modify your router's configuration efficiently. You can adjust essential settings such as the admin password, internet configuration, local network parameters, and other options as needed.

1. Access the router's web interface.
2. Click on Connectivity.
The following are settings that can be configured under Connectivity.

Basic |
The Basic tab allows you to view and change the router settings.
Admin Password - This allows you to change the router password, which is used to access the router settings.
Firmware Update - Displays automatic firmware updates. This is enabled by default and upgrades happen whenever a new firmware version is released. Updates can also be done manually.
Time Zone - Allows you to set the time zone for your area and adjust the time for daylight savings time changes.

Internet Settings |
Use the Internet Settings tab to set up your router for your internet connection. Most settings are already configured, and you usually don't need to change them. If you do need to make adjustments, contact your internet service provider (ISP) for guidance.
The settings can accommodate both IPv4 and IPv6 configurations.

Local Network, Advanced Routing, and Administration |
The Local Network settings allow you to configure the router to work with your internet connection. These sections enable advanced users to configure additional network settings for their router.
