Upgrading the firmware of your Linksys Mesh system
It is recommended that you enable automatic firmware upgrades on your Linksys Mesh WiFi system. Auto-updates for your Linksys Mesh system keeps your network up-to-date with the latest firmware, additional features and any other fixes.
This article will show you how to automatically upgrade the firmware of your Linksys Mesh system. If you choose to, you can do a manual upgrade instead.

1. Log in to the Linksys app.
2. Tap the menu icon on the upper-left side of the screen.

4. By default, the Automatic Firmware Update feature is enabled and will upgrade the firmware whenever a new version is released overnight. If you have more than one node in your Mesh network, each will be upgraded.
If Automatic Firmware Update is turned OFF, you will be prompted on the dashboard when a new firmware release is available. When this happens, tap Update now to upgrade the firmware.
5. Wait until the light on your node is solid blue, indicating that your Linksys Mesh system is ready. Make sure to not unplug or restart your Mesh system during a firmware upgrade.

If you disable this feature, you will have to click the Check for Updates button to check if a new firmware is available before you can upgrade your device.
