Linksys Mesh system tips

The Linksys Mesh system is made up of modular nodes which work seamlessly together to fit the needs of any home and deliver flawless WiFi wherever you want it.

Below are some tips to help you with the installation and performance of your Linksys Mesh system.

Installation tips

When setting up your child node, place it near the parent node to avoid any syncing issues during setup. Once the child node has completed setup, you may take it to another room to establish or improve the WiFi connection there.
In moving each child node, it is best to position it close to another node first. Then, move it farther away. While finding the preferred location for the node, the connection is fine so long as the light on top of the node displays solid blue or solid white depending on the model.

Performance tips

Make sure your nodes are displaying a solid blue or white light on the top. This will ensure all nodes are performing at optimal potential.
Use the Channel Finder feature in the Linksys app to optimize the performance of the Linksys Mesh system.
