ADVANCED TROUBLESHOOTING
How do I access my node's dashboard? Learn how to access the node's dashboard using the Linksys app or router's web interface.
After I set up my router with the Linksys app, there are nodes in Connecting status in the Networking Administration section of the app. How do I check if they are connected to the parent node?  After you have finished setting up your parent and child nodes through the Linksys app, the child nodes will need a few minutes to connect. Once the child nodes are connected to the network, they will have a solid white light. The app will also update each node's status after the connection is made.
I’m trying to add more nodes to my network, but the nodes are not being detected. What can I do to add them? To set up your child nodes, make sure that they are near the parent node (node connected to your modem), within 10 ft of distance. If possible, put them in the same room as the parent node. Once they have been added, you can move them to other locations as needed.
How do I reset the router? To reset the router, press and hold the reset button for 10-20 seconds.

When you press and hold the reset button, you will see a red light in a fading pattern. When the fading pattern has stopped, which takes about 10 seconds, the light will turn OFF. Once this happens, release the reset button and wait for the node to boot up.
How do I upgrade the router’s firmware? The node has a feature that automatically installs the latest firmware overnight and the upgrade only takes a few minutes. Make sure that Automatic Firmware Update is turned ON.
How do I check the router's firmware version? You can check the firmware version through the web interface or the Linksys app.
Can I add a Linksys MBE7000 as a child node to my existing Linksys MX6200 network? No, it is highly recommended to make the Linksys MBE7000 the parent router because it is a Wi-Fi 7 device. All other child nodes can be either another Linksys MBE7000 or a Linksys MX6200 for better wireless performance. If you have an existing network, you will need to reset your network and make the Linksys MBE7000 the parent node.
I’m trying to add a node to my Linksys MBE7000 network, but the node is not being detected. What should I do? If the node is not a Linksys Cognitive Mesh router, the node will not be detected. Linksys Cognitive Mesh nodes or routers are not compatible with Linksys Intelligent Mesh routers. Check the list of Linksys Cognitive Mesh routers
I have a 6 GHz client that is not connecting to the 6 GHz radio band. What should I do? For the client to connect to the 6 GHz radio, the client must be a Wi-Fi 6E or Wi-Fi 7 device. If the client supports either of these, try bringing the device closer to one of the nodes for troubleshooting purposes.
