The Linksys E9450 WiFi 6 Router is a dual-band router with 802.11ax standard that delivers extremely fast speed of up to 5.4 Gbps. It also features the next generation WPA3™ Wi-Fi security providing more robust password-based authentication.
The Media Access Control (MAC) address is a unique identifier assigned to each network adapter or Network Interface Card (NIC) of a computer or device. It is a wireless security option that you can use instead of setting up a WiFi password to protect your network. The MAC Filtering feature of Linksys E9450 will allow or prevent access to the network using this unique identifier.
Before you begin:
- This option is only available when the router is set up as a Non-Mesh System.
- If you enable this option, the Wi-Fi Protected Setup™ (WPS) feature will be disabled.
- Your router should be set up properly before you can access this feature.
