This article provides step-by-step instructions on how to properly install a clip plug.

Before you begin:
 

• Remove the power adapter from its packaging.
• Inspect the contents of the packaging and look for the clip you need to install.

1. Firmly slide down the button located on the rear side of the power adapter. This will allow the clip to be easily removable.

2. Swap the clip that originally came with the adapter and replace it with the one designed for your power outlet. Place the new clip on the adapter with the top part of the clip facing you. Then, gently press down to attach the clip to the adapter.
 

You should now have successfully installed your clip plug.
