The Internet Settings section allows you to configure the router’s internet connection in instances where you have to manually establish online connectivity.

1. Log in to the router’s web interface and go to Menu > Advanced Settings > Internet Settings.

2. Click the edit  icon on the Internet Connection Type tile for IPv4.

If you're setting up your router for the first time with PPPoE, follow these instructions.

3. Select your connection type. Then, clone the MAC address as needed. To do this, enable the MAC Address Clone tile and click on Clone current client's MAC or manually enter the MAC address. Click Save to apply your settings.

4. If your connection requires or uses an IPv6 address, repeat steps 2-3 under the IPv6 tab.

5. To obtain a new IP address, click on Release & Renew Release & Renew
for IPv4 or IPv6.

6. Click
Release & Renew to confirm. Then, click on Save.
