The hardware version is located beside or beneath the model number and is labeled version, ver., or V. If there is no version number beside the model number on your Linksys product, the device is version 1. If you still have trouble finding your version number, see the complete article to learn more.
1. Plug your range extender into a power outlet. Wait until the light starts blinking orange.
2. Connect your computer or mobile device to the range extender's default WiFi name.
3. Open a web browser, enter "https://extender.linksys.com" in the Address bar, and press [Enter].
4. Click on Start Setup then follow the on-screen instructions.

1. Press and hold the Reset button for 10 seconds.
The front light will start to blink blue.
2. Wait for the light to blink orange, indicating that the range extender is ready to be set up.
