This article will provide you with troubleshooting tips to follow when you encounter issues with Linksys E9450-SG for Singtel Dual-Band Easy Mesh WiFi 6 Router.

1. The router shows online but a client can’t connect to it

Check if the client is getting an IP address from the router, if not forget the WiFi profile on the client and connect to the WiFi again. Make sure to enter the WiFi password if prompted.

2. HTTPS certificate error when accessing the router’s web browser

Depending on which browser you are using, you may come across an error. To learn how to continue with your login click

3. The router, out of the box, is in child mode

You must run the setup wizard before you can use the router.

4. Configuring the router in Non-Mesh System mode

You must run the setup wizard first. After setting up the router, log in to the web browser and go to General > Internet Setup > Mesh Setup and select Non-Mesh System.

5. Resetting the router

To reset the router, hold the reset button for 10 seconds then let go. You will see all the lights turn off. After a few seconds, they will illuminate again with some blinking. Wait until the Power and WIFI lights are solid blue.

6. No internet connection

If an internet connection is not detected, power cycle the router and wait until the Power light on the router is solid and try again. If you are still unable to get online, contact your internet service provider (ISP).

7. Removing a child node from the mesh network

To remove a child node from the network, simply turn it OFF or reset the child node. The node will no longer appear in the child nodes list on the parent node’s web browser.

8. I don’t see the option to change a node to child mode

When a router was previously configured as a parent or non-mesh set up, the child mode option is not available. To change this, you will have to reset the router and add it as a child node.

9. Locked out of the web browser

After five failed password attempts, you will be locked out from accessing the web browser. You will need to wait an hour before trying again. Do not power OFF the router as the timer will not work properly.

If access to the router is urgent, you can reset the router and configure it again.
