SETUP AND INSTALLATION
1. What are the requirements for setting up the Linksys E7350?
Below are the requirements for setting up the Linksys E7350:
- Working internet connection
- A WiFi or a wired computer, or mobile device for setup
- Latest web browser version of Google Chrome™, Firefox®, Safari® (for Mac® or iPad®), and Microsoft Edge® or Internet Explorer® version 8 or higher (for Windows®)
2. What is the difference between a parent node and child node?
A parent node is a Linksys E7350 that is connected to your modem while a child node is another EasyMesh product (like another Linksys E7350) that will be used to extend your WiFi.

4. I just updated my router with the latest firmware that supports EasyMesh. Is EasyMesh automatically enabled?
With the latest firmware, EasyMesh will be enabled after running the setup wizard.
NOTE: For devices with older firmware, EasyMesh is turned OFF by default. If you’re router is already set up, you need to enable the EasyMesh feature to add other EasyMesh child nodes to extend your WiFi. For more information, click here.

6. I have another Linksys E7350 that I was using previously. Can I add it as a child node?
Yes, but first make sure that you have the latest firmware installed that supports EasyMesh. If the router was being used as a parent node, you will need to reset it. You may have to manually update the firmware, or if the router is still online, check if there is a firmware available. For instructions, click here.

8. What are the default settings of the Linksys E7350?
Below are the default settings of the Linksys E7350:
- IP address - 192.168.1.1
- Router password - admin
- WiFi name - Linksysxxxxx and Linksysxxxxx_5GHz where xxxxx represents the last five digits of the serial number
- Guest network - Linksysxxxxx-guest and Linksysxxxxx_5GHz-guest where xxxxx represents the last five digits of the serial number while the default Guest password is guest
- Backhaul - wired and WiFi backhaul are supported
9. Is the Linksys Mesh WiFi system compatible with Starlink?
Yes. For the Linksys router to work with Starlink, you will need a Starlink ethernet adapter which you can find in the Starlink shop. 1. How can I reset the Linksys E7350 to factory defaults?
You can reset the Linksys E7350 to factory defaults through the router’s web interface or using the Reset button. To know how, click here.
2. How do I know if I have successfully reset the Linksys E7350?
From a WiFi computer, wait until the default WiFi name appears before beginning setup again.
NOTE: The default WiFi name is Linksysxxxxx where xxxxx represents the last five digits of the serial number.
3. I am unable to add another EasyMesh child node to my network. What should I do?
There are a few reasons why you are running into this problem.
- The parent node does not have EasyMesh turned ON. If this is the case, you need to enable the feature. For instructions, click here.
- The parent node is not on the latest firmware that has the EasyMesh support. For instructions on how to update the firmware, click here.
- The child node you are trying to add is not on the latest firmware that supports EasyMesh. You may need to manually update the firmware. 4. I don’t have an EasyMesh option in the router’s web interface. What should I do?
The EasyMesh feature is located in Configuration > Wi-Fi > Basic Wireless Settings. If you don’t have this option, you need to update the firmware on your router. For instructions, click here.
5. I connected a USB drive to a child node and can’t access the drive. What should I do?
The USB storage feature is only supported on the parent node.
6. Can I add a Linksys Velop product or Linksys Mesh router as a child node?
No. Linksys Velop nodes or Mesh routers are not compatible with Linksys EasyMesh products.
7. How can I disable the EasyMesh feature?
Go to Configuration > Wi-Fi > Basic Wireless Settings and uncheck the EasyMesh checkbox. Click on Save and wait for the router to save the settings. You may momentarily be disconnected from the WiFi until the router has saved the settings.
8. How can I switch a parent node to be the child node and vice versa?
Reset your nodes and then set them up again accordingly.

9. I was locked out of the web interface after five failed password attempts. How can I fix this?
After a failed password attempt, you will see a countdown timer on the page. Once this timer clears, you can then try entering your password again. The timer increases after each failed attempt, however after five failed attempts you are permanently locked out of the router. To fix this, you need to reset and reconfigure the router.
10. My Linksys mesh router isn't working with my ISP's 5G router. What should I do?
For the Linksys mesh router to work with a 5G router, your ISP must provide a 5G router with an ethernet port for connection to the parent node.
