Press and hold the reset button at the back of the router for 10 seconds, then release. The power light on the front of the router will turn OFF and then start blinking blue.

Try to perform the steps below:
 

• Verify that your router's power and WiFi lights are both solid blue.
• To assess if you have WiFi range issues, try moving your laptop or mobile device closer to your router.

To reduce signal degradation, do the following:
 

• Clear obstructions between the router and your devices, such as walls, fixtures, furniture, and metal appliances.
• Situate your router away from locations with WiFi signal interference caused by other devices using the same frequency, such as baby monitors, microwave ovens, etc.
• Place your router on an elevated surface that is at least 6 ft high.
• Add another Linksys E9450 as a child node to extend your WiFi signal.

Try rebooting your modem and router, then wait for a few minutes. If you are still unable to get online, connect your computer directly to your modem to check for connectivity, or call your internet service provider (ISP) to check for any connectivity issues with the modem.

For the router to work with your ISP's 5G router, your ISP must provide a compatible 5G router with an ethernet port for connection to the parent node.
