Devices cannot connect to WiFi

If your devices are not connecting to the WiFi, check the following:

 

  • Make sure you are entering the correct WiFi password. The WiFi password is case sensitive. Change or verify your current WiFi settings using another device that can connect or connect a desktop computer to a child node’s ethernet port.

 

  • If you are using the QR code from the web interface or the QR code from the bottom of the Linksys node that you saved during initial setup and you have since updated the WiFi password, you will need to log in to the router and download the new QR code with the updated WiFi password. Learn more.

 

  • If you have enabled Instant-Privacy on the Linksys router, your device may have MAC address randomization enabled and therefore will not be able to connect due to a different MAC address it is using. Learn more.
