The Parental Controls feature of the Linksys Dual-Band WiFi Router allows you to manage devices, restrict internet access time, and block specific websites.
IMPORTANT: Before you proceed with setting up Parental Controls, make sure that the time zone of your Linksys Dual-Band WiFi Router is correct. This will ensure that this feature will block internet access on the exact time you specified. Learn how to update the time zone.
Follow the steps below to enable the Parental Controls feature of the Linksys Dual-Band WiFi Router:

Follow the steps below to enable the Parental Controls feature of the Linksys Dual-Band WiFi Router:
2. Click the Parental Controls tab.
3. Check the box beside Parental Controls.
4. Click Add.

5. Select a device then click OK.
6. Select your desired Block Internet Access option.

Never - to ensure that the selected device can access the internet anytime.

Always - to completely block the internet and not let the selected device access the internet at any time.

Specific times - to choose specific hours when access to the internet is blocked. During these times, the selected device cannot access the internet.
7. Enter any URL or web address you want to block, then click Save.
8. After clicking Save, provide the following:

Parental controls password

Required when updating Parental Controls settings.

Required to temporarily bypass Parental Controls when a blocked device is trying to connect to the internet or access blocked websites. To do this, turn ON the blocked device and open a web browser. The message Internet Blocked will appear. Enter the Parental Controls password on the Password field and click Unblock.

Verify password – re-enter Parental Control's password for verification.

Secret question – you will be prompted with this question when clicking I forgot my password when attempting to save Parental Controls settings.

Answer – will be used when prompted with the Secret question.
9. Click OK.
You have now successfully configured the Parental Controls feature of your router.
