If you come across devices losing connection to your WiFi network, check the following:

  • If you have enabled Instant-Privacy on the Linksys router, your device may have MAC address randomization enabled and therefore will not be able to connect the next time due to a MAC address change on the device.
    • Learn more about the private or random MAC address feature of your iOS and Android™ devices.
  • If you have older WiFi devices in the network, they may not support WPA3™ or WPA2™/WPA3 security setting. You may need to change the security type to WPA2 Personal. Learn more
  • Look for nodes that have a weak signal and try moving them either to another location or closer to another node. To check the signal strength on the nodes, click here.
  • Turn off the WiFi on your device, then turn it back to attempt to connect to a node with a better signal.
  • Restart the parent router.
