print icon

Scenario: Linksys USB Control Center won’t install on Mac OS® Sierra and El Capitan. Customers who have Linksys USB Control Center already installed and upgraded to Sierra and El Capitan will see an error message when the Linksys USB Control Center attempts to launch on Mac OS 10.11 or 10.12.

If your computer is running Mac OS 10.11 or 10.12, please uninstall the Linksys USB Control Center software and go directly to the Silex website to download and install the SX-Virtual Link Software. The SX-Virtual Link for Macintosh 3.19.0 is for Mac OS 10.11 and 10.12. Once the Silex driver is installed, you can use the Silex software utility to view and connect to the printer through the Linksys router USB port.
