How to enable or disable Express Forwarding
print icon

Express Forwarding is a router feature that can increase router performance as it bypasses protocols that add extra overhead to router processing such as packet-level inspections, sorting, filtering, and queuing.

Note that not all Linksys routers are compatible with Express Forwarding.

To enable or disable Express Forwarding, follow these steps:

1.
Access your router’s web interface.

2. Click on Connectivity under Router Settings.

3. Select Administration.

4. You can either check or uncheck Express Forwarding.

5. Click on Apply and then click on Ok.
