In a smart home where many devices are connected to the network, you can specify which devices are allowed to have internet access and feel secure knowing that you have control over which of your children’s gadgets are allowed to access the internet with Parental Controls.
This article will guide you on how to restrict internet access on specific devices in your network. To learn how, follow the steps below:
1. Log in to your Linksys cloud account.
2. Click on Parental Controls in the left panel.
3. Select the device that you want to restrict access from the Restrict internet access on list.
Make sure that Parental Controls is enabled.
4. Select Always in the Block Internet access box.
Selecting Never will allow all internet access for a specific device. Selecting Specific Times will only restrict a certain device for a specific time. To restrict internet access on specific times only, click here.
5. Click the Ok button at the bottom of the window.
You should now have successfully restricted internet access on specific devices in your network.
