print icon

This article will guide you on how to set up the Linksys LN1400YZ parent router for Yayzi ISP. Most Yayzi subscribers’ equipment supports a VLAN configuration, and the Linksys LN1400YZ has this VLAN enabled by default.

If you are unable to get an internet connection, it’s possible your ISP equipment may not support this VLAN, and you will need to disable it. You can either contact your ISP to confirm or disable the VLAN on the Linksys router.

Before you begin:

  • Parent router: This is the Linksys Mesh router connected to your modem.
  • Child node: This is another Linksys Mesh node used to extend your WiFi network, such as another Linksys LN1400YZ.
  • Write down the WiFi name and password located on the product label of the parent router.

Choose one of the following setup methods:

A.
Plug-and-Play setup wizard: A mobile device or computer is required to customize your settings.
B.
Pair button setup: A mobile device or computer is required to customize your settings.

If you are unable to get an internet connection, follow these steps to learn how to disable the VLAN configuration on the Linksys router.
