What is the Linksys EA9350 v3 router? |
The Linksys EA9350 v3 offers 802.11ax Wi-Fi® technology. It can provide you with better throughput, especially in crowded environments since the device can operate in both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz ranges. It has Intelligent Mesh™ technology that allows you to expand coverage across your home by adding nodes giving you the range to keep your connection going strong. This router is for PCCW ISP subscribers in Hong Kong only.

What is the warranty on the router? |
The warranty period is dependent on the country of purchase.

Where can I find the router’s serial number? |
The serial number is printed on the product label underneath the router.

What is the router's light behaviors? |
The main light on the front is an indicator of the router's status and operation.

Can the router be wall-mounted? |
No, this is not supported.

What are the features and supported formats of the USB port? |
The Linksys EA9350 v3 has one USB 3.0 port for external USB hard drives with the following features.
If you have multiple EA9350 v3 in a mesh network, only the parent node supports the USB storage feature.

Are the router's antennas detachable? |
No. The four antennas are adjustable only.

What spatial streams does the router support? |
The router supports 2x2 spatial streams on the 2.4 GHz radio and 4x4 spatial streams on the 5 GHz radio.

SETUP AND INSTALLATION |

How do I set up the router? |
The router supports automatic setup via PCCW’s Auto Configuration Server (ACS) with the latest firmware. Once the parent node detects an internet connection, it will automatically configure itself. You do not have to do anything. You also do not have to use the app to set up the router. Once it is configured and has an internet connection, the light will turn to solid blue. After it is set up, you can link the router to your Linksys cloud account to manage your network. Learn more

What are the requirements to set up the router? | You will need the following:

Can I add a Linksys EA9350 v1 or v2 as a child node to the Linksys EA9350 v3? |
You can only add another Linksys EA9350 v3 as a child node. The Linksys Intelligent Mesh technology is only supported on Linksys EA9350 v3. The Linksys EA9350 v1 and v2 are not mesh routers.

Can I add any other Linksys Intelligent Mesh product as a child node? |
Yes. However, other mesh routers may not support certain PCCW features such as IPTV. Contact PCCW for their recommendation.

Where can I find the router's default WiFi name and password? |
The default WiFi name and password can be located at the product label underneath the router.

How do I set to Bridge Mode on the router? |
You can set Bridge Mode on the Linksys app or the router's web interface.

What is the router's default administrative password? |
The default administrator password is "admin". You will be prompted to customize it once you access the router's web interface.

Does the router support W-Fi Protected Setup™ (WPS) pairing? |
Yes.

What is the router’s default IP address? |
The router's default IP address is "192.168.1.1". If an upstream device uses the same IP address, the router will automatically use a different LAN IP address to avoid any conflict. If you enabled IPTV feature, the IP address changes to "192.168.10.1".

How do I configure Parental Controls or Family Time? |
Through Parental Controls or Family Time, you can schedule a pause or pause internet access using the Linksys app.

What is Safe Browsing? |
Safe Browsing allows you to block content on devices connected to the network using Domain Name System (DNS) security through OpenDNS.

What is the Linksys Privacy Pledge policy? |
Linksys does not track your app usage or online activity. Our products and apps don’t use tracking cookies and we don’t share or sell your data for marketing purposes.

Does the router support HomeKit®? |
While the router does not support Apple® HomeKit integration, if you have other devices that are set up with HomeKit, they will still function normally as they are treated as regular clients on your network.

ADVANCED TROUBLESHOOTING |

How do I reset the router? |
To reset the router, press and hold the reset button for about 10 seconds. The light on the front of the router will flash bright red, then it will dim out in three pulses, followed by one last bright red flash. Once you see the longer red flash, release the reset button and wait for the router to boot up.

How do I upgrade the router’s firmware? |
You can set up the router to automatically upgrade the firmware or you can upgrade it manually.

How do I check the router's firmware version? |
You can check the firmware in the Nodes section of the Linksys app which provides a list of your nodes/routers in the network. Tap a node to check the firmware and other settings.

How do I configure IPTV on the router? |
You can enable IPTV configuration in the Wi-Fi Settings section on the router's web interface.

I can’t access the router after enabling the IPTV feature. |
The IPTV feature is only available to PCCW subscribers with an IPTV subscription. This feature sets your router's IP address to 192.168.10.1, and you must now use that address to access the router. Learn more

Can I use the Linksys app with the router? |
Yes, after the router is set up, you need to change the router password through the app and then add the router to the app to manage it from anywhere.
